Turbine Warming Benefits

Increasingly, utility companies are discovering that a relatively small investment in a Turbine Warming System can save millions of dollars in repairs and subsequent fuel costs. Heating System:

  • Uniform Heating is accomplished by utilizing braided rope heaters attached directly to a mesh covered insulation. The heaters are spread uniformly across the blanket for even heating and provide for true conformity to the curvature of the case.
    Heating Blankets
  • Integral Heating Blankets provide for ease of installation and removal by plant personal. Typically, one man can remove the system in less than an hour and reinstall it in less than six hours.
  • Heater Life is enhanced by the utilization of de-rated heaters. The heaters are attached and connected in parallel format to provide for automatic redundancy. In case of a failure, the remaining heaters will keep that zone at temperature.
